Didn't get a chance to post yesterday.  This is such a daily habit that it feels strange not to begin my day planning my daily consumption.  I have golfed 4 of the last 5 days so taking a break.  Though truth be told I would be happy to be out there swinging again today if I thought my body could handle it.

Putting some stew ingredients in the slow cooker this morning so I can spend the afternoon watching football.

Good morning everyone.  I hear you about posting here, it really becomes part of the routine and if you don't post something feels a little off.  Hot yin yoga was awesome yesterday, going to go again this afternoon for a 1.5 hour session.  Other than that a pretty lay day, going to get in some cleaning and hopefully some low carb high protein cooking too.  I was watching Marketplace the other day and they mentioned that the gnc lean protein is ok and the lab they used to determine if it was protein spiked made a mistake when testing.  I was thinking of making those low carb pumpkin bars that Nia posted this week, they sound really good and I have a can of pumpkin to use up.

Good morning everyone.  Today I am doing a kick-ass Zumba class for an hour, then going to visit a friend and have coffee.  Yesterday was a busy day with Zumba and a mountain of laundry and cleaning to do.

Zizzler I like the sound of your morning snack.  Keep really hydrated if you are doing an hour and a half of hot yoga.  Start hydrating now. I have been struggling a bit to get in all my food.  Guelph wants no more than 2 oz of protein at any meal or snack and I find with this amount I am just not hungry.  Trying to supplement my protein with a breakfast shake (which I usually do) and an evening higher protein drink.  Everything is an experiment, so we'll see how this works out.

Hey Cc, have fun at your Zumba class.  Your menu looks really good.  Lately I have been lazy and just using unsweetened chocolate almond breeze to make my sf protein hot chocolate, I just add a little sf cinnamon and toasted marshmallow davinci to sweeten it.  From scratch tastes better but this is super quick.  I bough a spiralizer but never used it, I really should get that thing out, your zuchinni noodles sound great.  How big is 2 oz meat?  I have heard its half the size of a deck of cards?  I am just trying to visualize it.  I have a skinny pasta in my cupboard, have not tried it yet, let me know what you think.  I tried the shirataki noodles and I had no issues digesting them so that was good.  Same with the taste of asia bean noodles.

Zizzler they say for non-WLS people a serving for a protein is 3oz or the same size as a deck of cards, so 2oz would be 2/3 of a deck of cards.  I weighed my shrimp and 3 shrimp were 2oz, the meatballs on the nutritional panel say a serving is 3 meatballs or 63 grams which is about 2oz.  I swear when they taught me the "new math" in school I thought I would never use it.  Just goes to show you, you never know. LOL.

Thanks Cc, that helps me visualize it.  I really should buy a scale one of these days, right now I still use a measuring cup.

Pat, where did you find the GoodFoods chicken salad? A friend sent me a message about 2 weeks ago saying he couldn't find it at Costco and it wasn't there when I went a week ago either. :/

I go to the costco at Warden and Ellesmere. They usually have it. Might be a long way for just chicken salad
