RNY  6 Years 9 Months Post Op

Morning

Golfing again this morning.  3 days in a row is a little much for my body to handle but I signed up as I was excited to get down here.  Bocci later this afternoon

Not enough food in my plan today but will add another 500 calories of either cheese and a few crackers or another dense protein source

STEPS - 10,333

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

     3/4 cup of scrambled eggbeaters

 

S - 1 Sargento 2% cheese stick

 

L - 1/2 cup of tuna salad

    2-3 tomato slices

 

D - 3 oz deli ham

     1 Arnolds thins

      2 pickle slices

 

S - Dannon light and fit Greek

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 670,  Carbs - 42 Grams,  Protein - 77 Grams,  Fiber - 9 Grams

 

All water and vits

You're right, your menu does look a little sparse - I think even I'd be hungry on that. lol

Off to work for the day and still trying to get caught up - this too shall pass, power through mode. Pulled pork was downright exquisite last night, nice to have some leftovers. Andrew's sister is coming for dinner tonight, not sure what his culinary plans are, so dinner will have to be a slight guess.

B - GNC Total Lean (pumpkin spice - can't believe I'm going to say this, but I'm so tired of pumpkin spice! lol)

S - ham/cheese/pickle roll-ups dipped in spicy mustard (3)

L - 1/2 cup of pulled pork, coleslaw

S - Greek yogurt, handful of grapes

D - ? protein and veg of some description

Good morning everyone.  Birdiegirl have fun at golf and bocci, I always wanted to try bocci.  Karen one thing I have done in the past is have black soybeans with pork, they only have 1 net carb per serving, it was really good.  Farm boy has them on sale 2/5 this week, a good price.

Just work and the gym for me today.  The other day I was so tired I worked out in my thermal underwear, they sort of look like sweatpants, anyways I was tired and cold so it worked out well. Lol

17 months post op

b - premier protein shake chocolate with a little  decaf coffee crystals added...later decaf coffee

S - 1/2 cup low carb high protein hot cereal - psyllium husk, chia seeds, oat fibre, flaxmeal, 1/4 tsp sunflower seeds, skim milk powder, sf cinnamon DaVinci, 1 tbsp plain whey protein powder just add boiling water wait 5 minutes and voila.  Very filling!

L - more hot cereal

S - half red bell pepper with slice of blue menu Swiss cheese, later...decaf coffee

D - leftover low carb high protein salad bar stuff from farm boy, 2 tsp steakhouse garlic sauce, gotta be careful with this sauce it's easy to eat too much. My farm boy has a really tasty baby kale Caesar salad, it was really good.  1 prepared chicken thigh also from farm boy.  

S - mashed avocado with lime juice, a little salt  and thyme

All water and vits.  Have a nice day!

Good day all,

I need to take my lap top home so I can post earlier in the day.

Well cutting out the nuts was the right thing to do. I have a lot more calories to play with...or should I say I am putting in less!

b - egg two back bacon

s - liberté yogurt vanilla 0%

l - 3 oz roast chicken, spinach, mushroom, feta, kraft calorie wise greek feta

s - cottage cheese sriacha sauce

d - chili - beef full of celery, mushrooms etc

The numbers:

Calories 940 Carb 41 Fat 46 Protein 91 - I am going to up my water to try to curb my hunger

Afternoon all. Got a quiz coming up tomorrow, 1st one after christmas break, so will be studying a storm. Hope everyone is well. Nice to see you posting regularly again Karen. Looks like you are feeling better.

B - 1/2 cup steel cut oats, 1 tbsp pb.

S - 1oz cheese, leftover breakfast

L - 3oz baked salmon, 1/3 cup baked zucchini

S - 1/2 cup milk

D - 2oz roast beef, 1/2 cup okra

S - 2oz smoked turkey
