flour alternatives?

I've been looking up some low carb recipes... I notice so it use coconut or almond flour... Are these

things good for us to have ? Opinions would be great please.I find I'm in that dreaded food rut and nothing interests me .

Thanks. I'm wondering about carbs etc. As I find I do better if I keep them to a minimum. But I've been browsing some recipes to add in some variety.

I blend up fiber one cereal to use as a coating for meat as a change, or you can use it in replace of Graham crumbs in a topless fruit pie.  Go to hungrygirl.com some great recipes.

Thanks. I'll look but the recipes I looked at stated the stuff I mentioned... I'm not sure how switching that would work. But I'll check out your site for some other ideas. :)
