DAYS FROM SURGERY AND TRUE ANXIETY

Wow the day is truly approaching quickly and my anxiousness has taken flight. It's been almost a year since my orientation class and the start of my weight loss journey about to begin. 

Im having a lap band removed and revision to RNY. As I continue the last few days of opti fast I find that I just can't wait for the surgery to happen. I have worked so hard and truly committed to the weight loss program. 

The only thing that I think of is the unknown the things I cannot control. But all is good. I'm only in hope that the surgery goes well with no complications. I know that ASAP after surgery it is so important to get up and ambulated to prevent a blood clot and to relieve pressure from the gases in my abdomen. 

Im a God fearing man and have put my faith in my higher power. It is there that I feel the safest. 

I have even started to pack all that I may need when I go for surgery. I leave nothing to chance and am a very organized person. 

I want to thank all my friend on this site who have provided me with knowledge and advice and there kind words.

Simon, you and I are in this together! I know exactly how you feel.

I'll say a little prayer for you on Monday. I'm sure everything will be fine and you'll be at home and ready to achieve those goals in no time!

Of all I talk to jenn I have been able to relate with you the most. 

Weve have gone though this whole process almost exactly the same. 

Jenn your surgery is on Tuesday and I'm lucky to say I'm one day ahead of you with the opti fast. Lol lol 

just remember all the hard work and commitment you have given to your journey. 

I will for sure say a prayer and hope that your surgery and recovery go as planned. 

Remember your goal and when you get out of recovery and back to our room get up and walk ASAP 

im sure you will do amazing and am always in your corner

Surgery buddies are the best, Jaxie was mine and she's been a godsend. We were even lucky enough to live close together and to have our surgeries on the same day.
