I have seen people posting in several places that they use zucchini noodles for pasta style dishes.  Where are you able to buy these?

Thanks in advance for your response.

You take a vegetable peeler and slice the zucchini into strips.  You can buy a gadget that spiral cuts them.

They are amazing.  I lightly saute them with some olive oil, julienne peppers, carrots and add some shrimp for Protein.

Thanks - this sounds delish.  Trying to line up some recipes I will be able to eat in a few weeks.  I am just 2 weeks out now but things are going well so far.

I am 2 months post op and things are going good.  Take your time and follow the program.  I found this great site called hungrygirl.com for recipes later on.

I've made both the sliced and spiral zucchini noodles. I used the sliced ones to make a pretty awesome lasagna dish. They recommend salting the zucchini and wrapping it in paper towels to remove some of the moisture. This wasn't a problem when making a spaghetti type meal.

I love zoodles. I don't miss pasta at all. I bought a cheapie spiralizer and it works great.

Check out Skinnytaste for some great spiralizer veggie recipes (not all her recipes are lower carb but she has a great selection)
