Good morning everyone. I could not sleep last night. I am off shortly to try a new pain med. It is lidocaine infusions. I have to sit for an hour while a drip slowly gives me the pain med. I am not allowed to drive myself home so do not know how I will feel after. I am hoping this is not jut another useless med.

Most days I can handle pain with the whole mind over matter but sometimes it can wear me out.

So I have no idea what the rest of the day will bring

b greek yogurt, blueberries

l salad with left over chicken, romaine and cucumber, ginger dressing

s baby bel

d sausages, salad

I do love salad. Half the time by the time I eat my protein I do not get to the salad but I do love it when I can eat it

Good morning everyone.  Pat, I hope your treatment is helpful.  Have you ever attended a pain management clinic?  A relative of mine has incurable severe chronic pain and it was recommended to him, he found it very helpful.  He got referred through his family doctor I believe. Just a thought, you probably have already investigated that.

Key lime essential oil has been a lifesaver for me the past few months, so I just had to share.  I mix it with coconut oil and use it as a cream at night and after showers, and as aromatherapy.  I found out this morning you can put a drop in water and it has health benefits taken internally too, so I am doing that right now.  I added a little ez-sweetz and it tastes really nice, uplifiting and smells amazing.  Here is a link to a page with info on this essential oil.  https://www.organicfacts.net/health-benefits/essential-oils/ lime-essential-oil.html  It is not the easiest to find, I had to go to a specialty store, but omg it is awesome, and it not expensive.  I also bought some black pepper essential oil, it was a little pricier but it smells great mixed with the lime.

Happy to have the weekend off to have some me time.  Today I plan to shovel some snow, take a nice long hot bath, do some cleaning, hot yin yoga, and possibly some group painting this evening. I want to cancel my cable and use a roku or similar, anyone have a recommendation for what to buy?

Good morning everyone.  Pat I really hope this treatment works.  I have arthritis and when it flares up, it can last for months and it can be debilitating.  Swimming is the only thing that hasn't caused a flareup.  I do Zumba and every once in a while I feel my knee starting to lock and I stop what I am doing and stretch it, then change up my moves.

Today I am going to try a new Zumba class and see how this old body handles it.

Zizzler I am going to have to find the lime oil, it sounds wonderful and I could put it on after swimming.

B. 1 over easy egg, 2 slices turkey bacon, a few mushrooms

S. Large decaf coffee with GNC pumpkin spice shake used as creamer

L. 8 large boiled shrimp with SF ****tail sauce

S. Another large decaf coffee

D. Roast beef with gravy and mushrooms

S. Protein hot chocolate

MFP totals calories 792, carbs 17, fat 36, protein 108

These seem a little low for me so I might add in a yogurt or something if I'm feeling it.

Have a good day.

The treatment I had was at a Pain Management clinic. I am still a little loppy from it but at present I feel no pain. I am interested to see how long it lasts
