Hi Eragon2015,
I also am pre op and going through HRRH. My surgeon is Dr. Starr and surgery is March 28/16.
As for your trio appts, the Dietician will go through your eating habits, talk about nutrition, look at what changes you have made in your eating habits to prepare yourself for this surgery. She will talk about food choices, how to read the labels etc... She will also want to see your 3 day meal diary and will discuss this with you. Then she will decide if you need to do any homework and you may have to come back to see her.
The Social worker will ask you lots of questions about your family, supports, and the surgery itself. You need to know what procedure you are having, explain the surgery and all the risks involved. She will ask about your mental health and any issues that you are dealing with now or in the past.
The nurse will go through all of your medical issues. Any meds you are taking, what you can take and can't take after surgery. She will go though the meds and vit. you will have to take after surgery. Takes your blood pressure, and temp. Basically just does a whole medical history with you.
Good luck at the appts. They are all very nice there. Hope you keep us updated on your progress.

The trio appointments went pretty well yesterday. Long, but good. 3 in one day. Ive been cleared for surgery. So now I wait. Dr. Glazer in march. I also will be off from carpol tunnel surgery in march.
I found the dietician the hardest appointment to get through. She is VERY thorough with what they want to know.
