I liked my old one because it was small and I could just clip it to my bra. It has taken some getting used to having a wrist one. The old one I could wear anywhere. This one I would not wear out somewhere nice unles my sleeves were really long

Its too bad they don't make them look more like jewellery since most people will wear them all the time.  I have the old one with the clip, the battery died and I never replaced it, now I have not idea where it is.  I really liked it too.  Karen mentioned one brand that looked more like jewellery, I can't remember the name, might check that out.

Just a quick note for a fitness tracker for swimming.  I use garmin vivosmart and is waterproof.  I was in swim Physio and wanted to track how much I moved and it works great

Cool!  Do you like the look of it?  How does it compare price-wise?

It is worn on wrist I don't mind it. Price wise is now lot cheaper then what I paid.  Think I saw at Costco for 139.00. When I bought mine was 199.00 was higher then what I wanted to pay but was only one I could find that was waterproof. I think new one vivosmart HR is 199.  I am thinking of getting that one as has heart rate. Has gone down in price as well as was 269 before

I had looked into that one last fall. I should have bought it. I think my DH thought I wanted the same as before. He also seemed to think having a heart rate monitor was important. Actually could not care less.

I swear by my pretty Misfit Shine - http://misfit.com - and it's accurate for swimming. They've also recently come out with one that is specific to swimming, and another that is specific to cycling. They're awesome and, as Zizzler mentioned, they look like jewelry.

I actually use an app on my phone called Map my Ride. It uses satellite and will sync with your phone. There is so much technology out there now

Grove Martin hot chocolate - is it sf, and, if so, where do you buy it?  We had rain the entire day, buckets of it, and it is supposed to freeze overnight - ugh! I had a really rough time with gummy candies over the holidays.  It all started innocently enough, I was waiting in line forever at Toys R Us and I forgot to bring a snack, no drink either.  So, of course what is there in line at the checkout at TRU?  Deluxe gummy candies just sitting there in a cute little cup.  I know better but I gave in and bought them and they were really good, there is something about the texture that I just went crazy for, of course I am sure the sugar also made them addictive.  So, long story short I indulged in gummies several more times over the week that followed.  I have since weaned myself off them using extra firm sf jello gigglers as a substitute but omg it was a strong craving, I am still sort of wanting them now after a week of going cold turkey.  Jellybeans I am sure would be equally addictive for me, and cause problems with hypo too, as the gummies did.
