Well came home today. Surgery was on Friday. So far so good. A little stiff but that's about it. Managed the 3 hour drive home without any meds which was a bonus especially during a snow storm. Eek. Looking forward to starting the full liquid diet tomorrow. Funny how that excites me. TWH was great staff were mostly amazing. Dr Penner did a great job even though I never did see him after the surgery. Anyway just thought I'd post an update:)

Congratulations on the surgery ... I was at TWH as well and the staff were great and I never saw Dr. Okrainec after either :). It is amazing how the little things excite us ... I thought I'd died and gone to heaven and heard the angels sing when I had a poached egg ... lol
