First visit with dietitian yesterday since surgery on Nov. 23rd. She says I'm not eating enough :(  So today I've planned a new menu.

B: 2 large mugs of decaf coffee with 1 Chocolate Premier Protein Shake

S: Yoplait Source Greek Yogurt - apple pie

L: 1/2 can Chunk Chicken with 1 tbsp Light Hellmann's Mayo with 7 Saltine Crackers. (don't want the crackers but dietitian says I need starch)

S: ???

D: 1 cup Homemade Chilli : lean ground beef, tomato sauce, tomato paste, kidney beans, crushed garlic, onions, chili powder.

I know it's still not enough protein but I've added more than usual.

66g Protein

if you put some shredded cheese in your mayo or on your chilli, and/or a piece for snack that will add protein, you could have some garbanzo or chick peas in your chilli and that would add protein also.

If you take cream in your coffee add Premier Protein Vanilla shake instead of cream (it adds up).  You can add unflavoured protein powder to your chilli to up the protein (you can buy it at Bulk Barn).  Your second snack could be deli turkey rolled up with a slice of cheese or Laughing Cow spread on it and rolled up.
