Good morning everyone.  Hit the gym before work this morning for the first time in forever, I always go after work.  It was really nice and quiet, relaxing.  No waiting for machines and lots of parking.  Seeing my sports medicine doc tonight so I will not have time then.

Good morning Zizzler. Love your commitment of going to the gym in the morning. I usually need the energy just to get myself ready for work.

I hope to swim today. My manager only comes into the office once a week and it is today. See if she has anything urgent. Home tonight

I am not sure I like the new meds I am taking. It has stopped helping with the pain and is making me even more anti-social than usual. I do not want to do anything. I know it is partly the weather but damn I do not like it's effects. I am staying on it at least until Saturday then I will see.

I also forgot 1/2 my lunch. I may try to pick up a yogurt to go with it

b greek yogurt, blueberries

s banana

l cottage cheese and salsa,

s 2 baby bel

d chili

s laughing cow and crackers

Have a good day everyone

I am usually the same, especially in winter when it is cold in the mornings.  Last night I went to bed early and ended up waking up at 5am, so I figured why not give it a whirl.  I liked it that it was nice and quiet, so different from 5-6 in the afternoon, especially this time of the year.  People are still flooding our gym with new years resolutions to exercise.  It will be back to normal by the end of the months but right now parking is a nightmare at that time.  Classes are crowded too, at my last yoga class I had to take a spot right up against a garbage can as it was the only space left. Sorry to hear about your meds having side effects, that sucks.  When do you take them?  I find taking meds before bed helps with the side effects I experience.  I used to take them in the morning or during the day and I found I felt them more than when I take them at night.  Especially helpful because one side effect is drowsiness.

Good morning everyone.  Zizzler I'm glad that you enjoyed your morning gym time.  I like to exercise in the morning because then I get it out of the way and I feel better knowing it's done.  Also, the rest of my day is free to get other things done.  Today is the exception, I will be doing an exercise class at 6:00 tonight.  I love this class because it really kicks my butt and my muscles scream for days.  They just started offering it midweek, so now I do the class twice a week and I'm starting to see results.

Yesterday I had one of those crap eating days.  Everything was going well until late evening and then it was like I was a bottomless pit.  Didn't eat any bad carbs during the day, and I ate dense protein during my late night binge (turkey, beef meatballs).  Lately I have been feeling as though I was fighting a virus and have been sleeping more, so maybe that's why the binge.  Not sure, but today is brand new day and I will try to do better.

B. Large decaf skinny latte, 1/2 of a duck egg omelette with green peppers and mushrooms on 1/4 P28 Protein Wrap with fresh salsa

S. Another skinny latte (I got a Tassimo for Christmas.  I think DH is trying to break my Starbucks addiction.  Won't happen.  I buy a Tassimo Skinny Latte package, and a Tassimo Decaf Latte package and mix the decaf with the skinny creamer for my coffees.  DH gets whats left for a regular latte)

L. 2 Thin Addictive crackers (bought these at Costco before Christmas and haven't tried them) with turkey slices on top and a little SF cranberry sauce - saw this on the other thread and thought I would give it a try.  I don't usually have an issue with crackers so we'll see how this goes.  If they cause a problem then I will make DH take them to work.

S. Another decaf skinny latte

D. Spicy black bean burger on a Love the Taste protein bun.  These are extremely filling and I can only eat half, so I am hoping that if I have the other half for my evening snack I won't have a repeat of last night.

Have a great day everyone.  Has anyone heard from Tanya?  If you're reading this Tanya - check in so we know you're OK.

Hey cc, what kind of class is the butt kicking one, is it yoga?  I tried ordering the latte with soy protein added at another starbucks and they told me they had never made that and they could only put it in cold drinks.  Have you ever had this issue?  Tassimo sounds really nice, especially when its cold out you can stay toasty and still have a nice coffee.

Sigh, not all Starbucks are the same.  Most of the Starbucks I go to know that they can steam protein powder into the milk, but I have been to a few that didn't know how to do it. Basically it's just mixing the protein powder in with the milk before they steam it for the latte.

The class that kicks my butt is Zumba total body toning.  Today it was butt lifts, pushups, planks, squats, tricep crunches, bicep curls, shoulder and back exercises.  I will hurt tomorrow (and the next day, and the next, lol)

Aha, I will show them the photo I took of my starbucks cup so they know it is possible next time, thanks Cc.  That class sounds intense, you must feel so relaxed after taking it.  You go girl!

Hey there, your menu looks good, I love chalet sauce.  If you make the wraps just be aware that the batter may get thicker as the psyllium hydrates.  If this happens just add more eggwhite to thin it out.  Also make sure you use a good non-stick pan. Let us know how they turn out eh?
