One Male's Story in the Ontario Bariatric Program 8 1/2 Months - 88 Lbs Lighter, Never Felt...

Surgery Date: 04/13/2015

June 2015: Deemed "Clinical Success" by Sudbury Team.

HW: 333 Lbs. - CW: 245.0 = 88 LBS GONE!

I have done this with just one month after throwing out my back! Diagnosed in May 02/2015 as having a herniated disc/slipped disc, impinging on my Asiatic L4-L5 Nerves. Its excruciating. So consider that burning pain behind your calves and this and lower back constantly since April. I have only been able to do menial tasks, physiotherapy, elliptical slowly and exercise balls.

Dr. Desmarchi #1 Rated Neurosurgeon in Sudbury has me scheduled ASAP for my "Laminectomy-Discectomy of my L4-L5". This is for sometime in the new year. I have been on his ASAP list since October 12/15.

I cannot wait. I have religiously been following my proteins, no sugars, complex carbs, fruits... And have been feeling fantastic all these months except for my back pain. The Doctors said that the bundled nerves are higher up in my spinal column, and will be a lot more intensive surgery.

I just want to be able to slowly get into jogging, mountain biking, pool aquatic exercises as well as weight training at the local Y or Good Life.

Despite this delay with my back since April, preventing me from true exercise... I have limited been physiotherapy, and elliptical, and to my Doctors dismay even forcing myself to some XC Skiing, albeit light.

Here is my new photos! I also have begun a dating life again!
