Are there any type of cookies or crackers we can have?  I have been looking on Low Carb Grocery but not sure.  Does anyone know of any good recipes?

I don't dare try cookies ever. If I want a cracker it's Melba toast with cheese on it. It's not a cracker that makes you want a whole box. Usually one sometimes two will do the trick.

I agree with Monica, stay away from carbs.  I found different crackers that were within the sugar/carbs per serving guidelines, but once I started eating carbs, the cravings came on.  I am actively fighting to stay away from them now.  Wish I wasn't so clever with my label reading!

It is so true!  There are definitely crackers out there that sound ok-flavoured like chips but the problem is you cant just have 3!  3 turns to 10 to half a bag...and they are so good you don't even add protein to them.  That's why with Melba I put cheese or the very rare time so peanut butter on it in the morning if I have run out of my greek yogurt.  Turkey pepperettes are my saviour -one completely satisifies me and they have protein and decent nut value. I buy the 2 pack at Costco and they are a lot cheaper there than at any grocery store.

Good luck with the carb battle!  Once you cut them out it gets easier...

Monica which turkey pepperettes do you buy?  I've only seen the Turkey Biites at Costco, single pack. I can eat them but they're not very dry like a real pepperette.  Maybe you're buying something different?

They are in a different section than the single pack ones.  In Peterborough at least I find them in the fridge area near the cheeses or near where they have the pasta/dips etc.  I will look at them when I get home and let you know the brand.  I believe 2 packs cost 13.99.

Thank you, I will check out the Turkey sticks.  No carb cravings, just wanting to be prepared for my first Christmas and if someone should bring an awesome dip just wondered if there was crackers out there that are ok.  And I was thinking of making cookies using splenda.  But I certainly do not want to eat and then want more.

Mini Melba rounds are a good option or veggie sticks for yummy dips!!!
