RNY  6 Years 8 Months Post Op

Morning

Spending the day choosing area carpets, tile etc etc for our renovation.  I have no idea how long we will be or if we will be out for lunch or back in time.  Not my vehicle so I am not in control of this.  ( I like being in control so I usually drive, not today).  So, I have a ham and cheese sandwich in my totals which should cover enough carbs and calories for any contingency.

Out for dinner with friends this evening - I know this dining room and menu well and there are always good choices for me

STEPS - 6637

EATS

B  - 2 large mugs of coffee

      Premier protein shake with 3 inches of banana and ice - blended

 

S - 1 oz of Emma parmissimo snack cheese - I love this stuff

 

L - ham and cheese sandwich

 

D - 1 small piece of hot bread

     4 oz beef tenderloin

     few bites of whatever the veg is - I have asparagus in my totals

     1 bite of potato

    glass of merlot

    1 TB of olive oil used in cooking - assuming this

    bite of my DH's dessert

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,550,  Carbs - 96 Grams,  Protein - 102 Grams,  Fiber - 8 grams

 

All water and vits - more decaf coffee

Good morning everyone.  Birdiegirl where do you get the Emma parmissimo snack cheese?  Sounds yummy.  I buy the parmesan chips they make in-house at some Loblaws, sometimes buy moon cheese or grok, or make my own.  Today is my only day off this week so I will try to fit in some nice stuff to boost my self-esteem for next week.  I am so glad that Christmas is coming up, I really need the break away from work.  Going to hit value village, I have a 30% off card burning a hole in my pocket :0)  After that I will hit the gym for my regular workout, my physio moves, followed by some time in the hot tub whirlpool and then the steam room and/or sauna. Might do my nails this evening, they are in rough shape. 

15 months post op

b - gnc chocolate protein shake with decaf crystals added

s - decaf coffee...later small piece of marble cheese...later sf orange koolaid water, might get a protein shake at the gym, no fruit or juice added and low carb high protein, if I feel like spoiling myself

l - cabbage and pork stir-fry or leftover meal from freezer if I feel lazy

s - cucumber slices with salt and pepper

d - plan to make a crustless quiche, if not then a leftover meal from the freezer

s - flax and eggwhite made into a muffin in the microwave, I usually add a sf Dasani syrup for taste, might add a tsp of froen berries as well

All water and vits.  Have a nice day everyone!

Good morning everyone. Barb renovation sounds like a lot of work but picking out tiles etc sounds like fun.

Charles Dickens reading last night was great. The readers were excellent and the choir was great.

Out soon to get my hair cut then home to walk the dog. Out tonight to a party at my niece's house, Having dinner before hand so will try to stay away from the food except for a little cheese.
