Went to Orientatio Today at HRRH

great hospital, easy to find and navigate around!

Orientation was good. Lots of information, but nothing new over and above what I have been reading about and researching this past year.

All my paperwork is handed in, I have my sleep test this Sunday night.....and now I wait :)

Was anyone else at the 9 am orientation today at HRRH??

just curious what they shared with you today in terms of wait times. Especially with the hospital move the chatter is that there is a considerable backlog. so I'm interested to hear what they told you.

Did my orientation Aug 25 and still waiting to see internist.

the dietician who did the orientation told us we would hear something in 10-12 weeks, but it may be a bit longer because things are a bit backed up.  I guess it depends on what she considers "a Bit"

yes that's what they told me too back in August. Another patient that day told a bunch of us that it's more like ,4 months. so I just wondered if they changed their spiel

I literally just got off the phone with HRRH and they told me that I should get a call in March 2016 for my appointments. I had my orientation November 30, 2015. I also asked if I could be put on the cancellation list....she laughed and said there was no such thing.

Omg.... . . . This is going to Take forever!

It does seem that way doesn't it? Our day will come. :)  We have to be patient (which is extremely hard for me! lol) and enjoy this journey, wherever it takes us!

Here is my timeline so u get idea what the wait time are like.. I had orientation March 23/15, meet the surgeon sept 9/15, trios Dec 7/15, Dr Glazer Jan 11/15.. 

 So I am guessing the approx. wait time is around 10-12 months.  Thank you for this - very helpful!

Your surgery date is just around the corner! So excited for you!

Oh your welcome.. At my orientation they told us surgery would be a year from orientation. When I had my trios they said I should have my surgery in spring or summer!!
