Baking my cake and eating it too!

Ready for a chuckle? I made my own dam birthday cake.

Because of my career, I have had cake made by a chef who served his creations to the Queen, the Pope & frigging Martha Stewart. Whoo hoo!  This is my first post op B-day so it just made  sense for me to bake the cake for a family get together rather than have to trouble anyone else with my dietary needs. Chocolate & almond flourless with stevia --- raspberry coulis on the side. It was---- not awful.

My family thought I was controlling before surgery and now.......

There are hazelnut and almond flourless cakes I will try at some point. Just googled for recipes and substituted sugar w/ stevia.
