Prescriptions and vitamins

How do you manage to get all of your prescription meds and vitamins in? I don't know if it's because I'm just 4 days post o*****t. It takes me almost an hour to get 3 capsules down without upsetting my stomach. Then there are those vitamins that can't be taken with anything else. I've switched as many of them as I can to chewable or liquid.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Yea the first weeks are spent just eating..drinking water...timing pills...sleeping...and a bit of moving around.

Do the best you can - make & keep a strict schedule.  It will all become easier and the need for all the fussiness will disipate as the weeks go by.

I agree with Roxy, it is very early yet.

Just be patient and as each day that goes by, it gets better and easier to adjust to your new lifestyle.

As some one told me, it's a marathon not a sprint.

Good luck!

definently wasnt easy at first but i used an app called Baritastic it is an all in 1 app that has a timer / medication reminder etc.. you should check it out it will help to remind and schedule you medications and vitamins.   Do the best you can in a few weeks you'll find a schedule that will work for you.  Good luck :) welcome to the losers bench

If you are having trouble getting some vitamins down  - have a chat with your pharmacist. They may be able to recommend alternatives. I take my multiple vitamin at breakfast w/ my blood pressure meds -- and then calcium citrate at lunch, dinner and evening snack times. I used a pill cutter on the calcium --but found the rough edges a challenge. Now I find taking the whole horse pill easier. Good luck!
