So we all know it is a long wait here in Ontario for surgery and I was just wondering if one was to become unexpectedly pregnant would the clinic simply defer surger until after the baby is born or would you have to start right back with a new referral and wait another year again?

Really good question, probabaly best directed to your bariatric centre.

Unfortunately Humber is not so user friendly :)

Very interesting indeed. Many of us waited a year or more for surgery -- so if you were at the beginning of the programme, the timing might work. That said - I know nothing about pregnancy / breast feeding. Ask your centre!

4yr ago at TWH you could postpone for a year without restarting the process. More than that you had to start the referral process again
