RNY  6 Years 8 Months Post Op

Morning

Another busy day ahead and another day I wont have time to put my Christmas Decor up.  This weekend hopefully.  Going to try and have another low eating day

STEPS - forgot to check my fitbit but guessing approx 5-6000

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

    Premier protein shake

 

L - 1.5 cups of home made steak soup with 1/3 cup of shredded habenero cheese melted on top

 

D - 1.5 cups of kale salad

     1.5 skewers - 4 oz weighed - of chicken souvlaki

     2 TB of tzatziki sauce

 

S - Souirce dessert yogurt with a squirt of topping

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,063,  Carbs - 72 Grams  (36 in the soup alone) Protein - 114 Grams,  Fiber - 11 Grams

 

All water and vits

A lot of people awol these days. My DH just bought a tree yesterday so I guess decorations will be going up soon are our house as well. Maybe Sunday. Early dentist appointment this morning. I had this bright idea to bike there. I over dressed and was a sweaty mess when I got there. Now one of my gears is stuck. Should make biking home a lot of fun.

Just work and home today. Having one of the last frozen peppers I did. Do not like them from frozen. I will not do that again.

This board has been quite quiet the past couple of weeks.  I guess people are busy doing other stuff!

We thankfully got our Christmas decorations up after Remembrance Day as we were having a surprise birthday party for a friend and wanted the house done for that and before we went to Mexico. It was nice to come home to a house already decorated as my husband is busy the month of December at the golf course with Christmas parties so he never has time in December and we end up putting minimal up.  This year we look like the Griswald's lol.

Good luck with your bike ride home Pat.  I am loving this weather!  It can stay till April!

Barb I am craving chicken souvlaki now!!

Hello all,  Hope all are having a good day.  Dr appts went ok yesterday, surgical wound healing, but slowly, have to see surgeon again to check on Monday.  Maybe it is the protein malabsorption that is delaying the healing?? And the fact it is in a terrible spot in groin area with folds, and movement.  Leg is still pretty swollen, surgeon said it is due to the lymph nodes being interfered with.  I am going to ask for a referral in January for some lymphatic drainage massage, once the surgeon says it is ok. 

B- up late, just coffee

L- taco salad with 3oz ground taco turkey, lettuce, gr onion, pepper, salsa.

D- small steak with fried onions and peppers

S- syntrax shake

No totals yet, may have another snack, trying to get protein numbers up.

Afternoon all. It has been quiet here for sure Pat. Just got home, had a quiz today and finals next week and BREAAAAAK for xmas, oh joy.

2yrs post-op

B - i made chicken pot pie soup last night. No potatoes or dumpling, just chicken veg and cream of mushroom soup, very good had 3/4 cup today.

L - 1 cup silk almond

S - cup boiled okra

D - 3oz sausage, salad

S - protein mug cake, tea

Totals, 691 cal, 32 carbs, 35 fat, 62 protein. If hungry will add sliced ham
