Thank you for your suggestions.

I couldn't handle another bag along with my super heavy school bag or I'd take a lunch one. And I don't like tuna. Lol.  I was bringing meat and cheese but it's not always so great warm.... and I'm one of those people that can't handle the same thing over an end over for long.

I will appologize  for my horrible typing. Both my tablet snd phone don't get along with OH to well.

I'm just worried that turning to protein bars snd not having proper snacks or skipping eating is leading to my month (or more)long stall!

Sounds like the school bag is a problem. Consider getting one with wheels -- similar carry on luggage, or strap the bag you have onto a luggage cady / cart for $20.

I cant afford to go buy another bag. Spent enough on the one i have now. I have to make due with what i have. Which is why im trying to figure out things that don't require refridgeration or heating

I normally keep pepperettes with me. They help if I need a snack, and dogs love me :)

Recently I've been having peanut butter sandwiches made with P28 bread and P28 peanut butter.  They fill me up (usually can't finish a sandwich made with one slice of bread in one go.  I split it and have the rest later for a snack) and if you combine the two you get 28 grams of protein.  They also have wraps.  The peanut butter comes in flavours like Caramel Turtle, White Chocolate, original.  Doesn't need to be refrigerated or heated.  Like all peanut butter sandwiches, they are not low in calories, but then cheese usually isn't, nor are almonds. I buy them at Popeye's Nutrition, but I'm sure they sell them at other stores. The other suggestions posted are great, but I understand if you have food intolerances.

Thanks! I've discovered intolerances to eggs and lately lettuce... almonds have been horrible since surgery except once i think i ate something with them in it. I dont have any stores with anything more than the p28 bread. Is it possible to order online? Or comparable wraps/bread i could order or find in the few stores where i live?  i have tried the bread... i find i can only have it with peanut butter becauae it has a odd taste to it that would not go well with it.

I do like the taste of the Wraps better than the bread. You can order online from Low Carb Canada.   Low Carb Grocery doesn't carry the P28 line of products.   I've used the Wraps for flatbread pizza and breakfast burritos.  Keep trying, you'll find something that will work for you. CC

They have packaged tuna with a lot of different flavors, and I bought them on sale at Kroger for $1 each pack.  No need to put in the fridge.  Take some low fat Triscuits with  you and you're set.  I take peanuts with me almost everywhere so I can grab a few to settle my stomach.  Planters has different varieties and some are even sold as a healthier alternative.  You may also try to take some gazpacho soup (broth with veggies) which should be eaten cold or at room temp.  Good luck!
