You ever tried lavender essential oil for headaches?  I find it can help, I just put a few drop on a tissue and breathe deeply. Kind of an odd eating day, mostly low carb pumpkin bake, I still have tons of pumpkin though, despite my efforts.  That was one big effing pumpkin.  Probably will freeze some.

14 months post op

b - gnc chocolate protein shake with a few tsps decaf coffee crystals. Sort of reminded my of my optifast days

s - 3 tbsp pumpkin bake. later...sf cherry koolaid

l - 2 hot beef sticks - wow they were really hot, later...sf orange koolaid

s - sf orange koolaid

d - 1/2 of a cheese stuffed beef patty with feta cheese, tomatoes, tsatziki, cucumber slices, celery sticks, ranch dip

s - 3 tbsp pumpkin bake, later...sf koolaid, later...1/2 strawberry protein shake with my vitamins and medications

all water and vitamins.  Not a bad eating day, pretty proud of myself for not turning to food to deal with my feelings.

Thanks for the tip on the lavender. I am going to have to try and if it work than I will have to get my husband to try since he suffers from headaches also.

Your menu looks pretty good. I would freeze some of the pumpkin and that way in the middle of the winter you can pull some out and really enjoy it instead of being tired of it. I love Tim Horton pumpkin spice tea. I don't have it often but I do have a box at home and on real cold day it taste the best

Good morning!

B I had a one egg omelette with ham cheese and veggies. Half slice rye bread and one home fry.

L marinara sauce with meatballs and a couple of bites of pasta

S turkey pepperette

D flattened buffalo chicken breast done on BBQ with 2 slices of tomatoe, 2 cucumber slices in vinegar and 3 asparagus spears. The chicken was to die for and we have enough left over for tonight that we are going to put in a salad and I'm sure we will still have some left!  My husband eats 4 oz of protein as he has been losing weight and is down 120lbs. Makes cooking easy when we can split everything!

Monica, do you flatten the whole chicken and grill then put buffalo sauce on?  I make flattened chickens all the time and am always looking for new ways to jazz it up.  Some of my favs are with herbs and garlic and lemon peel or just some of the Clubhouse spices like the Cajun one.  I just flattened one a few minutes ago and now trying to decide what I am going to put on it.

Hi Tracey!

We actually bought it at the Butcher already seasoned and flattened.  It was just Franks Buffalo Hot Sauce and my husband added Montreal Chicken Seasoning to it.  It was really tasty and he cooked it on the bottom of the grill on low and kept an eye on it.  The leftover sauce in the bag he added it as it cooked too.  It was so moist.  Best one we have had yet.

Thanks for the info.  I actually put Clubhouse Cajun Spices on mine and put it on the grill and am basting it with Franks every 15 minutes.  I find flattened chickens are always so much juicier than regular baked chickens. Mine will be ready just in time for lunch. :)

Sounds yummy and we love Cajun too!  We also bought a jalapeno lime seasoning that is quite nice.  I think I might add some of the chicken that we have left over to my marinara sauce and eat it in that tonight-I will let my hubby eat the salad with chicken!  I am getting hungry must be time for lunch soon lol.

How was your chicken?  I heated the leftovers up in my marinara sauce and it was yummy. My husband ate half my dinner!  I still have about 2.5 ozs of chicken left so might have it for breakfast!
