Hooray for Opti :) Day One down
Good for you! I am almost done my three week stint on it and i loved the shakes the chocolate was definately better tasting. Maie sure you drink alot of water inbetween your sgakes it will help with the hunger. Be prepared you may get a real nasty headache i know i sure did on day 2 but its normal. I found its all in your head about craving food. It feels weird to not actually chew anything but you will do great.
It will fly by. I am on day 10 of 14 days. Surgery is Tuesday the 17th.
I absolutely hated the taste of the chocolate shake for 3 days and then it was fine.
I've been adding mango sugar free drops to the vanilla - it tastes like a smoothie.
I also added vanilla to coffee one morning and it was a little like a latte.
Good Luck!

I'm right there with you all! I just finished day 4 and I'm surprised that it's going well. I'm on for 4 weeks. I really dreaded the thought of no food last week, but decided to take one shake at a time. I didn't much like the vanilla the first day, but now like it. Also, I added a crystal light powder in the flavour of my choice, with some ice in my magic bullet and it's like a thick, cold milkshake! I have been experiencing some "cotton mouth" and wanting to brush my teeth more than usual. Anyone else experience this?
The water is key....also, I can have 2 cups certain veggies/day which I have close to bedtime to keep stomach from rumbling before sleep. Keep up the great work everyone! This is a journey, not a race!
Best to you all!
