Getting sick post op..

Good morning :)

So, time for my usual annual autumn cold.  I can feel it coming on.  It's the first since surgery.  Thing is, all my "usual" go-to remedies aren't so pouch friendly.  No ginger ale.

My question is for you post-op peeps - what cough and cold meds are you having success with?  I hear the Tylenol name thrown around frequently.  Any other?

Thanks :)

Sore Throat:  Gargle with Sal****er.

Cough:  Fisherman's Friends, SF Halls, etc.  Or any SF Candy.

No Voice:  any SF Candy, keeps the throat moist.

Congestion:  Vicks, on chest or feet; vaporiser in room; Vicks type plug in.

Tylonal has a selection of cold meds depending on symptoms.

Lots of water (keeps you hydrated, and helps thin out phlegm).

Chicken soup/broth (depending on stage).

Garlic (hey, it helps me fight colds)

Some say exercise (sweat it out), others rest.
