We posted at the same time so I deleted mine. LOL
Woke up with a sore throat so not sure if I will be able to eat what I have planned. If all else fails, I will resort to protein shakes for the day. Reading under the covers and napping will be in my plans for the day.

CTRL C and CTRL V is what I use all the time on OH and it always works. When I saw it was you, I deleted right away as I know you have trouble and I never do.
I like the taste but I'm used to it by now. Try to get the unsweetened one and you may want to just try the Coconut Dream one over the Silk since it's a much smaller container. Both are very good. I keep stirring it as I drink as the turmeric tries to drop to the bottom so I keep stirring it to keep it incorporated with the milk so I don't end up with a bunch of paste in the bottom. Some people boil it then strain out the turmeric but I just swallow it.
Hot coffee this morning and will be turning to hot tea later, thankfully I have some herbal ones that I don't mind then will make Earl Grey. I woke up ice cold so the heat is turned up and blanket on me already. Ecchinaccea in me so hopefully this is the worst it gets.
Take care my friend - I always forget about the CTRL C and P....thankful I have a geek of a friend like you to 'splain things to me.
Burning only small amount again - going to get new strips as the ones I purchased last year have the smallest tip of tester on them its difficult to see what amount is actually burning
Same weight too but I know the problem

I didn't wake up with keto breath today but I find I get used to it after a few days. I am up .4 overnight but my fingers are swollen. Too much salt in the stuff for taco salad. Today I will finish that up then go back to less salt. Going to take chicken out to cook either later today or tomorrow, not sure how I will make it yet but may just roast it then it's easy to just add to green salad or reheat with veggies. I'm out of sticks but not bothering to get more, I can feel when i am in ketosis so that's all that matters for right now.
I have found this the easiest kick the carbs to the curb ever for some reason. I think I was mentally ready to get them out of my life so it was easier than usual. Once DH gets home mid week, my days will be a bit more difficult as he won't eat what I eat. He'd never eat the same foods for days on end. We never eat the same breakfast or lunch so those I can stick to mine but dinner will have to be altered. He'll want pork at some point the week he is home so I have to stop eating that today or I'll be sick of pork. I have a few of the homemade sausage patties left so may save those for him.
Maybe its easier since we are doing it together? I think that is what's working for me - as well as being mentally ready to change things up from the past months of stress and poor eating choices.
I know you are sensitive to salt - I woke after 3 hours sleep and watched TV for a few hours before going back to bed - so hungry - had a few slices of deli ham which are high in sodium. I am OK with deli stuff in the middle of the day as I think the amount of water I drink flushes the salt - not at night.
However, I think I know the problem with no weight loss today...home most of tomorrow so going to dose up tonight!

Yes I am very sensitive to salt and I even bought the reduced sodium taco seasoning and use way less than they say to use but still have sausage fingers this morning lol
Take care of that problem before it becomes an even bigger one. One good dose should take care of that for a few more days.
Hello Barb and Tracy. Hope you feel better Tracy. I have had a head cold for weeks. I am hoping getting an infected tooth fixed this week helps. Probably not related but tired of this cold
Woke up really not hungry today. I will have some breakfast before I go out but right now just can't face it. Off to our church's Remembrance Day Service.
Out to lunch with my son and his fiance and her daughter. My daughter will join us for a celebratory lunch. I know the menu for where we are going so already know what I will probably have. The calories for it are a bit high but the rest of the day will be low
b greek yogurt, raspberries
l black and blue cobb salad (has steak as well as blue cheese and egg)
d beef stew, salad
Have a good day everyone
