Tips for transition to Opti
I am currently on day 4 of Opti, and the only transition that helped me was being mentally ready! just get a nice big jug of water in the fridge, ice cubes in the freezer (tastes better cold), and if you wish have some extracts,sugar-free drops etc on hand, I haven't needed them since I really enjoy the flavours of the shakes. Also get yourself some lettuce, cucumber, green pepper, celery and broccoli (this is what my Hospital allows) those 2 cups a day sure help with some of the brain games that your body plays..it's nice to crunch food. It will be find, I was so nervous and I am actually doing GREAT. Ihave had no real hunger, just head hunger, and the scale has dropped 9lbs already!! Best of luck to you!!

Hi. I am on day 4 of opti and doing well. What I did though was remove all the " junk" out of the kitchen and into my pantry that is in my mud rom area. My husband and daughters are eating the things I like away from me right now. The other thing I did was a spent a day making up dinners for them. Now in the morning the crockpot is on and they can help themselves to a meal without mummy having to cook. My husband will also have his own protein shake at night to join me on my quest. I have two friends who also made dinners and will help out post op. The hubby and kids can cook but I think my friends want to help and this is their way. I also at work if their is food mentally associate the food with negative images and this helps not to crave. I drink lots of water as well! Best of luck
