Thanks for all the feedback

I have signed up for the craving change program and it might take a year to get in so meanwhile I will try to do some reading.

I find it very hard to identify my feelings around food. I over eat when I am happy and when I'm sad, stressed ect
~This is my wish for you: Comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips, sunsets to warm your heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see, friendships to brighten your being, faith so that you can believe, confidence for when you doubt, courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth, Love to complete your life ~

I think it is good to have a little bit of fear regain. Having WLS is a big life change. I am only two years out and daily I am learning.

I am addicted to food. There are somethings that can trigger me to eat regardless if I am hungry. Luckily I do attend therapy at least two times a month. I come here daily to.

Please don't feel shame about being obese. It does not help. It makes things worse. I still have shame sometimes for letting myself get to the point of needing WLS. I try not to forget but not dwell on it.

I hope you can find the guidance to help you move forward taking care of yourself.

Coming here and reading and posting questions is a great place for support. Some people who are vets who have been 5 or more years out and have kept the weight off really can help you.
