What are you eating/doing today ( Thursday)

OH is doing some strange things this morning.  Had a very restless night last night so I have decided to stay close to home and work in the garden.  There is still so much to be done in the garden so I know I will be getting a good workout.

DH and I are joining a friend for dinner and live music tonight.  I have looked at the menu online and may ask what the fish selection of the day is or what the soup of the day is.

1 year 3 months post op

B. 1 slice of P28 protein bread toasted with a small turkey sausage patty and an over easy egg, a few small grape tomatoes.

S. Large decaf pumpkin spice coffee with GNC pumpkin spice shake used as creamer

L. 1/2 of a P28 wrap with micro greens and beets salad mix, thin cucumber slices, tuna salad (I can never finish this in one sitting, so I usually have the rest later in the afternoon)  Has lots of protein and veg.

S. Enormous cup of decaf while working in the garden

D. Maybe fish and veg or maybe soup and a salad

S. Protein hot chocolate

Referral to Guelph Feb/13, Sleep study and all bloodwork and ultrasound May/13, orientation July/13. Nurse, NUT,SW Sept/13, 2nd NUT, nurse and SW, 3rd round and cleared for surgery Dec/13. Pre-op Apr 7/14, Surgeon May 2/14, Opti Jul 3/14, surgery Jul 17/14.

According to EatRightOntario.ca 5 ounces of wine is approximately 100 calories. No idea on carbs. On MFP most are 125 for 5 ounces and 4 carbs. Interesting information on the eating right site. It says that CAMH suggests no more than 10 glasses of alcohol per week for women. And that 5 ounces of wine is considered a glass. I love my wine, and i'm glad i'm well below that average. I drink maybe two - three a week. 

 

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

MFP had it at 120 calories for 6 oz so guess it's about the same as your 100 for 5 oz.  That is what I used in my total.  Oh so I can have 50 oz a week?  That's almost 2 whole bottles to ourselves :)  This was the first wine in 3 weeks and actually my neighbour cancelled so no wine today after all.

Not supposed to eat and drink so drink for the snack it is on some days :)

So you guys are saying wine is OK for us.  About 100 calories, and less than 5 carbs.  I must have misunderstood what Guelph was telling me.  Bottoms up.
