Thursday night I was rushed to the hospital with severe abdominal pains. This is the third time since I had surgery last December so I was not hopeful at them finding a cause. But find a cause they did. I have a small ulcer, stones in my bile duct and an internal hernia. Tomorrow morning I will be sent to HRRH from Barrie to see Dr. Klein and get patched up (I thought he was from TWH? Maybe my memory fails me...). Wish me luck

For 4 days I've been on clear fluids. If ever gave jello or apple juice again I will scream.

Referral - Feb 25th, 2014. Info Session - April 7th
Surgeon#1 - May 15th Dr. Glazer - July 23rd, Dietitian/Social Worker/RN - Aug 1st, Surgeon #2 - Sept 10th, Surgery - Dec 16th, 2014!

I'm glad they found a cause. Sending you quick healing vibes and a big hug. With all that going on, it's no wonder you were in such pain.

CENTURY CLUB MEMBER at 6 months post-op.

Referral to Guelph Feb/13, Sleep study and all bloodwork and ultrasound May/13, orientation July/13. Nurse, NUT,SW Sept/13, 2nd NUT, nurse and SW, 3rd round and cleared for surgery Dec/13. Pre-op Apr 7/14, Surgeon May 2/14, Opti Jul 3/14, surgery Jul 17/14.

So sorry to hear you are going through this but I am glad they found the cause and can do something to fix it. Dr.Klein is my surgeon and he is doing my RNY at Humber tomorrow. I like him and have heard nothing but good things about his surgical skills. You are in good hands!
