Good morning everyone. Barb enjoy your time down south. Your soups sound wonderful.
Today after swimming I have to get our pumpkin carved then some general household duties and an early night hopefully.
I took our cat to the vet yesterday and she said that he had gained since he was last there and it was time for him to go on a diet. DH had him set up on an automatic feeder so that if we are not home he still got fed. This smart little cat (OK not so little) has figured out that if he puts his head up the feeder hole and lifts the whole machine, then drops it, extra kibble will come out. For a long time we couldn't figure out why he had scrapes on his nose, then we saw him doing this and that explained the scrapes. With a dog you can exercise him by taking him for a walk. With a cat that's afraid of everything, walking is not an option. I think he stress eats, lol. We will be switching his food from kibble to canned, but any other recommendations would be helpful.

Good morning,
birdiegirl have a fun trip down south.
Well the conference is over, though yesterday was a bit of a disaster at lunch when I distractedly ate a bunch of dry salmon really quickly and spent an hour and a half in a washroom stall with "foamies" and eventually threw up. It was a good lesson! I don't want to do that again anytime soon.
Back to a normal routine today. The pouch seems pretty much back to normal now.
