Impatiently waiting for my surgery date
I know what you will say but I'm here posting anyways. I am impatiently waiting for my call to tell me when my surgery will be. When I was in to meet the surgeon I was told it would be 2 to 3 months before my surgery. That was September 21. I just can't wait to get this going it's been such a long process. I feel I have done everything I can to be as prepared as I can. I want to make the arrangements I need to with work to be off. I am a kindergarten teacher and leaving these children is not that easy. I really hope my surgery ends up happening over Christmas so at least some of my time off is over the break.
Anyways, here is to the hope I get that phone call soon!

1st referral-June 2014, sent back and resubmitted September 2014. Wrong referral-medical not surgical. December 22-Surgical Referral sent in.
March 2, 2015-Orientation session; April 8, 2015-Blood work completed; May 12, 2015-Intake appointment; July 24, 2015 Dietician/Behaviourist; August 26, 2015 Pre-surgery class; September 21, 2015 Meet the surgeon; SURGERY NOVEMBER 13, 2015
Your time will come, it sucks to wait. Where is your surgery? I had my meet the surgeon day on September 7th and just recently got a surgery date of December 16th at St. Joseph's Healthcare. I hope you get the call soon :)
