Does anyone know if you experience hair loss with having the vertical sleeve? I found out yesterday that that is what surgery I will be having and I feel like I don't know anything about it. Any information you want to share about the sleeve would be appreciated.

Hair loss can happen after any general surgery, with rapid weight loss, with stress, with medications, you name it, it's not just specific to weight loss surgery. But with weight loss surgery you get the perfect storm of several triggers. Your best bet is to expect it so if/when it does happen to you, you're already psyched up for it.

It grows back, I've posted several pictures now of my goofy regrowth. None of us post ops are bald :)

Referral - Feb 25th, 2014. Info Session - April 7th
Surgeon#1 - May 15th Dr. Glazer - July 23rd, Dietitian/Social Worker/RN - Aug 1st, Surgeon #2 - Sept 10th, Surgery - Dec 16th, 2014!
