What are you eating/doing today (Sunday)
Apple picking sounds really fun - and the fresh air and sunshine will probably do you some good too. :)
Umm... your walnuts sound incredibly delicious! Do you just sprinkle the spice on after or before toasting?

Hey Karen, the apple picking was a blast, everyone gave me their little apples!. Nothing like a freshly picked apple, omg. Walnuts at the moment I just sprinkle with the spice on them before toasting them. They are good but I think I will start making them with eggwhites so the spice sticks to them more. I have heard you just mix the spice with the eggwhites, dip the nuts in them, drain excess egg, then bake a low heat until set. Sounds good to me, plus it adds a little more protein from the eggwhite. I would add some salt to the chili one and some sucralose to the cinnamon one too. Might do that next time, would be good with almonds I think. I have also roasted them then dipped them in no sugar baking chocolate with sucralose and a little coconut oil added, this was really good but needed to be frozen to stay solid.

Sandy posted a few recipes for this on the recipe forum, she used almonds but any nut would work.
Not sure why it won't let me link it or even paste it

So glad to see you starting the thread today, I missed you! Sorry about the stone, that's gotta totally suck.
I've been extremely run off my feet lately and frankly, I'm pooped. I was just saying to a friend that I'm having trouble finding a work-life balance at the moment, but it's unavoidable for the next while so I guess I'll just suck it up, buttercup. ;) Off to visit my parents in a bit, groceries, home to study, and Fear the Walking Dead tonight - yay!
