And what should I expect for the meet the surgeon appointment? 

It is fairly quick and easy. Who are you meeting with?

They ask you a few questions, talk about the procedure and you are done. Mine was 5 minutes, if that.

I also have an appt nov 12 with dr Klein 

First thing that happened was he weighted me told me about the surgery and risk ask if there was any new health problems. Its a very quick appointment 5 mins if that. After u meet with the Dr they will send u upstairs to book an appointment with Dr glazer then over to the hospital for blood work.. 

Im confused. Both Dr. Klein and Dr. Hagen are at 960 Lawrence. And Dr. Glazer is on 4th floor of building beside HRRH Finch site. Also no patient can go to Dr. Glazer and book an appt. on their own. A Dr. (Klein or Hagen) has to refer a patient to Dr. Glazer and their office will call you for that scheduled appointment. Reason I am confused is because it sounds like some of you saw your surgeon at the Bariatric Clinic (downstairs from Dr. Glazer) - is that true?

But the rest is fine. Your appt with the surgeon will not be long. He has illustrations of the procedure, explains the risks.

Yes, when I met with Dr. Starr, it was in the Bariatric Clinic downstairs.  I than was told by his recption to go upstairs to Dr. Glazer's office and they scheduled my appt to see him within a few months.  

That is so cool. I didnt have Dr. Starr. I had Klein first and then to Hagen. And a little funny. Because when I saw the trio in the Bariatric Clinic, the social worker told me to go upstairs to book appt with Dr. Glazier. I did and the receptionist laughed at me and said she only books appts with Dr. Glazier through my surgeon. So I had to make an appt with Dr. Hagen to make an appt for me with Dr. Glazier. She continued to say she never makes first appts with patients direct. That is probably why the social worker was confused because Dr. Starr sends his patients upstairs. Unbelievable...or maybe they all decided there has to be a simpler way to have patients book their appts with Dr. Glazer.

Hopefully with the new hospital, everyone will be moved over there and close together. It is very confusing with all the running around 

My appointment is at the new hospital, maybe things will be done differently? 

I met with Dr.Klein the first time at the Bariatric clinic (the second time was at his office). He gave me a referral form on that first visit that I was told to take upstairs to Dr.Glazer's office to book my appointment.
