reviews for Dr. T Jackson...

Hello everyone, Im up for Gastro Sleeve in 2 weeks at Western Hospital in Toronto with Dr. T. Jackson, has anyone had a procedure with this doctor? Can u pls. send me reviews on him?

Also, could anyone tell me if is ok to do the procedure while in ur period?  

Im soooo nervous and scare about the whole thing, specially when I read of some people's complications!  Please send me good vibes and prayers, my surgery will be on Oct 09, 2015!!!!!!!

He did my RNY in August and was wonderful.

Many women have had surgery while on their period...I think they may prefer you to use a pad rather than tampon, but I could be wrong.

You're right about that re. no tampons. You get to have those oh-so-attractive disposable mesh panties with a 100 year old antiquated pad. Fun times!

Dr. Jackson did my RNY in April 2015 and I have nothing but good things to say.

Surgery went well, incisions healed perfectly, no post op pain or issues, and the TWH Nurses were FANTASTIC!

Keep in mind I followed the rules 100%.  I sipped and walked and then sipped & walked some more.This is the time to focus 100% on yourself and healing.

Once home, I followed the nutritional guidelines and food phases to point.

I was lucky and got my period a week after surgery so it was one less thing to worry about.
