First Forum Post!
So after being a "lurker" for months, I have finally joined and am writing my first post! Yeah for me!
Right now I am on day 4 of Optifast. Unfortunately, I have to be on it for 4 weeks. This is HARD! Actually today was easier than the day before and I am determined to get through this phase. The biggest problem is trying to find recipes for the shakes so I can drink them. So far I have found that instant decaf coffee goes well in the vanilla and orange extract works for the chocolate. There is no way I can drink them naked! I find the vanilla too sweet and the chocolate is just..well, not chocolate! I have been reading other people's recipes and will try them all 'cause 28 days is a loooong time to be drinking these shakes!! How did other people get through this stage?
The one question I did have was how do you post your journey on your signature block (you know, orientation, dietician, surgeon etc)? I have looked all over and can't find any information. Thanks in advance for anyone's help!!
I bought the caramel extract and it helped with the vanilla!

you can add decaf coffee either brewed and made into ice cubes or just the decaf coffee crystal into the chocolate and the vanilla. I bought carmel and banana extract and liked them in both vanilla and chocolate. Sugar free syrups to change up the flavour. Mio and crystal light. you can add cocoa powder into the vanilla to make it chocolate. You can take a package of chocolate and a package of vanilla and mix 1/2 and 1/2 so they're not to sweet.
at the top right corner if you click on my OH you can go to health tracker there is options there to make a signature
Welcome to the board! For recipes, go to the http://www.obesityhelp.com/group/ontario_recipes/discussion/ forum and check out Surviving Opti, there are lots of recipes in there.
For changing your signature, go under Health Tracker then Tickets/Widgets. You can add all that there.
Thanks,
