Good day everyone and happy hump day.  Cc making soup sounds like a great idea, I have Cincinnati chili in my crock today while I am at work, love that smell when I get home :0) This past Sunday I went to Whole Foods for the first time.  We only have one here in Ottawa and it is relatively new.  Bought some Cajun cheese curds, which they make in-house, as well as some noodles - seaweed and bean -nand miracle rice.  Beautiful store but holy expensive though! Anyone else shop there?  Today is just work and home, I need to do some gardening so I might do that, with the nice weather we are having my Ivy is almost on my roof!

Oh yes! Whole Foods also known as "Whole Paycheck"! They have such great stuff there. How did the noodles sit with you?

I have not tried any of them yet - I have tofu shirataki fettuccine noodles, seaweed noodles, bean spaghetti, and miracle rice.  I might try them with the chilli I made today.  Have you tried any of these post op?  I agree super expensive but wow, really nice stuff!

Ziz, how do you make your lentil in the crock pot? Have you made soy beans in the crock pot? I want to try and make soybeans in the crock pot next week and add some mushroom soup and onions. Never made them before so, this is a first for me.

new_me 180 I have never made soybean or lentils in the crockpot, I used canned ones for the chilli.  But, I have made other beans and they turned out fine, like kidney and navy beans.  I soak them with a tbsp. of baking soda overnight, rinse them, then cover with water and let them cook on low all day.  I am sure there are crockpot recipes for soy and lentil online, I just always do the lentils on the stovetop because they only take 25 minutes that way after soaking overnight.  if you try it let me know, I would like to try it too!

Enjoy your time up north Barb. Both on and off the course.

Into work early. Awake early. The conference we are having is a disaster and only a few weeks away. I will have to be very diplomatic today and not tell someone that this screw-up could have been avoided. At this point that is not productive and we need a way to turn this around.

Home tonight. I have not added snacks because I forgot to get some and I just do not know at this point. I should go swimming and if I get fed up enough I definitely will.

b greek yogurt, fiber 1, peach

l pea/lentil ham soup, yogurt

d meat sauce, salad

I have a lot of calories left and wil pick something up at the drug store for a snack
