Messing with your cycle?????
I have always had a near flawless monthly cycle. 24days...BINGO!
The day after surgery it came.... a few days early.....the hospital staff said quite often the surgery brings it on and that it happens all the time!!!! OK.
My next month took 31 days, and this month I am at day 26 and still waiting. Just wondering if others are having this happen as well???
My biggest issue with this is I'm trying to book a vacation--I have always been able to count ahead on the calendar to pick a" good "week for the beach..... Now I'm not so sure.

Opti messed with my cycle. I started on a Wednesday and it wasn't like it used to be, very light almost not there. Surgery was the following Tuesday when I should have been done but the day of surgery, even before going under it came on with a vengeance. Stopped on the Friday. Tomorrow is my one month surgeversary and it started yesterday.
I wasn't nervous leading up to surgery in fact I was quite excited and couldn't wait. I believe that the opti fast caused it to be wonky. All's ok now.
It'll even out for you. I say book a vacation and go with the flow (no pun intended)
It can affect your period for a few months. Not sure how long until it settles. I don't remember how the timing worked out for me, but I do remember having more severe cramps etc. So I went and saw my doctor. She put me on the pill just to help with the pain. Wouldn't trust it for birth control, but it did help with the cycle. Talk to your doctor about your cycle, maybe they can suggest something to help you out with it.

Yup, totally messed mine up for a few months. Had a regular period 2 days after surgery (it was due then anyway), but the next one came a week early and lasted damn near a month. The next one was late and disgustingly heavy. All this and I am on the pill ... it did straighten itself out after a few months, but just be aware that you'll probably have a few messed up months.
Totally worth the inconvenience though! :)
