What?!

Hi all! 

   Just a quick question. Has anyone else ever experienced a member of their bariatric team checking them out on social media?? I received a notification that the social worker I spoke to about 3 weeks ago checked me out on LinkedIn on Friday! I found it a little odd! Any idea why this would happen? 

Hmm, I kinda find that a little odd as well.  Is it possible that she/he would have a personal interest in whatever it is that you do for a living??? It's hard to speculate.....I don't know your occupation.

Funny thing is ....I felt that the people I met with in my clinic couldn't have been less interested in me as a person.  I felt like they were there just to go through the motions and check off the box.

Maybe she/he just found you fascinating!!!!!    ???lol

She did ask a lot about my career and education, but I don't think it's THAT interesting! I teach kindergarten haha

It's possible that you are connected to someone that she is connected with....she might have seen that you were and then just clicked to see your profile. Happens to me all the time - I use LinkedIn on a daily basis for my job.

I checked and didn't see anyone connected! Maybe she was just feeling snoopy :p 

Also if you emailed her from an address that is connected to your LinkedIn account, you may have come up as a suggested connection, so she clicked on you?

I've never e-mailed her :p 

Even if you never emailed her, if she has your email address in her address book then LinkdIn will suggest that she connect with you.  Happens to me all the time for people I have in my contacts on my iphone.
