Rough start to the morning. Last night I went to stand up and my knee locked. This has been happening more often lately. This time it managed to also pinch a nerve and irritate the joint in general. Today no streetcars. Had to take the express bus. This means standing for 1/2 hour. Not sure if I will swim today.

Pat so sorry about the knee pain, it's difficult when you have to walk or stand and every step hurts. Are you looking into getting a knee replacement?

If you can drink lots of soup it helps with the congestion. Chicken soup has proven healing powers, but Hot and Sour soup is DH and my goto when we get a cold. Hope you feel better soon.

Good morning everyone. I was up in the middle of the night again, but was able to go back to sleep after a few hours and a snack.
Yesterday I had a fun visit with a friend. We went out for coffee and have decided we will do a clothes shopping date at Value Village next week.
Today I didn't go swimming, decided the sleep would be of more benefit. I am going out for high tea with a friend for lunch, not sure what I will be able to eat, but this place is so beautiful where we are going that maybe I'll just have tea and a protein bar and still be happy. DH and I are going out for dinner and to listen to live music tonight.
