Good morning everyone. So busy yesterday forgot to post. Things are kind of crazy at work right now. Having to spend 4 hours looking for e-mail addresses was a pain in the butt. Many of the people are in technology or government and keep their info hidden.

More work today and hopefully swimming. Monday I did not leave the office and ended up working overtime.

The next month is going to be crazy.

Hi Tanya, I worked nights for years and years, was my favorite shift.  I used a sleep mask and earplugs, and a very dark room.

Sleeping in the daytime is not always easy.  Make your bed as cozy as you can, even a heating pad or ho****er bottle to warm it up before you get in will help you to fall asleep........ sweet dreams

Thanks CC. I plan/pack everything the night before and after school get home and make dinner and pack the leftovers for the next day. I've found out since i can tolerate anything and there's too much temptation out there, taking food in is less of a temptation for me. Once in a while its ok to eat off plan and i've learnt that, just not everyday.

Hi there,

Another day at the office for me - after the 'lull' of the summer, all kinds of deadlines suddenly piling up it seems! Then it's picking up my 3 kidlets from daycare (ages 6, 4 & 3).  Mad rush when we get home to get supper on the table, kids in the bath, some "quality time" squeezed in and then throw them into bed.  After that, I'll start in on the household chores - laundry the size of Mt. Everest!

Skipped out of work for an hour or so mid-morning and took my daughter to see our doc who diagnosed her with a lung infection   She's now started antibiotics - I'm hoping that'll mean a better sleep for her (and me) tonight - we've had 3 rough nights in a row!

4 months post op

B - homemade chocolate banana pb protein shake (wish I could find a store bought brand I like)

S - handful of grapes, 1 slice of cheese & 3 small pita chips (less carbs than a melba toast)

L - turkey slice, 2 oz cheddar cheese, 1 small chicken skewer

S - a beautiful large peach

D - not quite sure yet - likely something with leftover rotisserie chicken - making homemade pizza for the kids

S - my go to is either a turkey pepperette (or 2) or an apple w/ pb

Trying to drink as much water as I can - I REALLY struggle with that!

Hope everyone is having a great day!

I am exhausted just reading all of the things you had to do today.  Laundry is the worst, it just never ends.  Let's hope that the antibiotics work quickly for your daughter.  I know you have said that you have issues getting your water in, this is just a caution, but in January I had a bad fall down a flight of stairs, spent time in hospital, ended up on a walker for months and then on a cane for months.  One of the doctors from my centre believes I was dehydrated and that caused low blood pressure which caused the fall.  When taken to the ER the day of the fall I was getting BP readings in the 80's over 40's.  One of the first things they did was put in an IV tube to get my fluids up.  I drin****d decaf coffee to try and get in more fluids maybe that would work for you,  and try differen****er enhancers to find one that you like.
