Toronto western hospital

question- has anyone had correspondents through email from TWH for appointments or everything sent through regular mail?

My invite to Orientation came by regular mail.

Mine, too! And then via phone or in person after.

I got a call from TWH last night telemarketing of sorts, to let me know they're streamlining the after care and firstly going paperless and asked me for my email address all future notifications etc will be by email. Also to let me know they have now made appointments in the aftercare optional. The nurse appointment is not optional but the rest are if I feel the need. And then she asked if any of my appointments already booked for Oct 14th second year follow up did I think I didn't need. So I'm keeping dietician and nurse appt only. 

Destiny, I'm assuming that your doctor finally figured out how to use the Internet and was able to refer you?

Omg..yes. Karen!! Finally she did. I called everyday and showed up at the office every three days. I guess she got sick of her stalker lol

i called Toronto Western and they have received my referral , so now I have to wait for my orientation date. 

Gosh im so impatient!!!! Lol

I'm so glad to hear things finally worked out with your doctor. I'll bet you're glad you didn't go traipsing around the province of Ontario making appointments with this doc and that - I figured it would eventually work itself out. ;) 

My orientation letter came via mail as did my letter with all my post op appointments. Everything else was done while I was at TWH or by phone.

Orientation letter was via mail.  All other appointments were handed out at the orientation.
