Dr. David Lindsay at St. Joseph's in Toronto
Hi Everyone,
My mom just got her date for surgery -- about a month from now in Toronto with Dr. Lindsay. I was wondering if anyone had this surgeon and what your experience was like at that hospital. I had my surgery in Guelph six months ago, so I feel a bit like I'm reliving the process :) I just got off the phone with her and we were discussing opti recipes. Feels like forever ago that I was mixing my shakes.
Also, any suggestions or input for navigating this hospital? I have never been there and we aren't from T.O.
Thanks!!
Meg~

I had my surgery at St Joesph health care but with Dr Sullivan 3 months ago. The Dr Lindsey and Dr Sullivan do the surgerys for northern ontario mostly. for those who are going threw Sudbury Bariatric clinic. The surgeons office is in the sunny side building which is directly beside the hospital and it is where you will go to met your surgeon and purchase your optifast and then walk over to the hospital and go to 2nd floor pre admin booking and they will bring you into a room to meet the surgical team for pre op. On the day of surgery you go to the same spot to be admitted and you are brought to a wing on the 2nd floor after surgery. Very easy to navigate.
Sorry to bud in here but I just have a quick question for you. I am just wondering how long you were with the Dr to get your optifast and then with pre admin/surgical team etc. I just want to know how many nights to book when I go down since it's over a 7 hour drive! And I hope things are going well for you :)
