Good morning everyone.  Barb enjoy your celebratory dinner.  Tanya Happy Anniversary.  Karen, well done on getting your assignment in on time.

Today it's swimming, household cleanup, coffee with a friend, and not quite sure about the rest.  DH is taking the afternoon off to take the car in for rust proofing but maybe we will do something later in the afternoon.

Sending virtual hugs to Betony today.  I have met her a few times and she is such a nice lady.

Ensure that you don't "buckle" - you're worth the effort.

Day 3 (of anything really) tends to be the turning point. By day 5 you should be feeling pretty great and your body will have adjusted to this new regimen. Hang tough!

well ive been trying to have my "dinner" (broth and cucumber) when my fiance has his dinner..so that at least it seems normal lol its the little things I am trying to trick my body into lol

Maintaining some semblance of "normal" is important I think. Eating dinner, as per the usual, with your fiancé is you adjusting to the situation and dealing with it logically and sensibly - this outlook will serve you well.

There is nothing like "real" food even if it's a bite here and there!  You appreciate food so much more now. Good luck!

Hey Digby, and welcome. It is such an amazing feeling to be able to eat food again eh? I remember I felt like each food was new to me, like I was reborn from an eating perspective. When did you have your surgery?
