Hi everyone!  I had my surgery on Sept 8th and it went amazing.  I was home on Thursday and off pain meds Friday!   I was losing weight like crazy a pound a day.  However since starting full fluids I've lost nothing actually up 1/2 a pound.  I'm following the diet plan to a T.  Trying my best to get in all my water.  Walking.  I don't know what's happening!  I know that everyone talks about the three week stall but I'm only 8 days out.  Help!!!!

Your body is in total shock between the surgery and the days of quick weight loss.  So many changes such a short time.  No need to worry on day 8.

Just follow your plan and when your body is ready, you will see the scale move.

Keep doing what you're doing - the exact same thing happened to me.  Focus on the protein and keep hydrated.  It'll start to drop.  Remember, you're not going to step on the scale and see a 10lb drop immediately - it takes a bit for the body to adjust.  We're all individuals so your journey is unique to you.  You're doing great.  :)

Put away the scale and only weigh at the most once a week, you will feel calmer.  Just focus on getting in your water, vitamins, protein, walking, sleep, all the things your centre is telling you to do and you will be fine.  I had extreme anxiety after surgery at times, panic attacks too, so know that that can happen and your centre can help you get through it.  Keep posting here, it really helps too to know others are going through similar.
