Tuesday night check in on what did you eat today

Starting to feel better and my voice is coming back. did a 45 minute class today and my 60 minute run with some stairs work out.

B banana half hour later premier protein drink

s part of a bagel with peanut butter

lunch part of the bagel with peanut butter

s rest of the bagel with peanut butter

after the run peach and half apple

d 2 greek yogurt and 2 oz of chicken

no snack tonight

mostly ate what I posted this morning:

b - gnc protein shake chocolate, decaf coffee

s - pure protein bar, more decaf coffee

l - a cup of mixed fresh fruit with plain greek yogurt

s - decaf coffee, 1/4 of a simply protein bar

d - sf fruit punch, later...pork carrot mushroom stew with coleslaw, cheese string

s - same as dinner

good for you to sticking to what you had posted in the morning. Your menu looks great. How are you feeling these days

Feeling better thanks, I have accepted my disappointment and moved on.  So much easier to stay on track when I feel emotionally ok.  How are you doing?  You staying on track with your eating.  I am so jealous of your activity level, very inspiring!

Barb are you not starving eating that little of food?  Are you losing weight?

B Greek yogurt and protein cereal

S turkey pepperette. 

L half a hamburger no bun. Pickle and couple of fries

D grilled chicken and veggies on BBQ with tatziki tomatoe cucumber and green onion.

no I am not losing weight and not starving. On run days I need to watch very carefully what I eat. Otherwise I am having bathroom issues on my runs. This is not a uncommon problem for some runners. I have just started to be able to eat a bagel before a run. Before it was just greek yogurt or a banana. I use to have to eat a bagel throughout the night when I had a race so I had food in me. I can not eat heavy after a run because it will upset my stomach. That is why some days I eat 4 yogurts because I need the food.

Do you run every day?  I have heard people have issues with their bowels when they run.  Not fun I am sure.  I just feel that you need more protein in your diet like instead of 2oz of chicken I think you should be aiming for 4oz.  Just my 2 cents worth though.  have you been back to the clinic to talk to them about maintenance and exercise?

I called and called when I was due to go for my 5th year check up and they never did return my call. I am not the only one who could not get them to return call.  No I don't run everyday.  for sure twice a week and it will be going up to three times a week in Oct to get ready for my marathon. No it is not fun when you are a runner and issues. Learn very fast to take routes with washrooms. The problem is in the winter when they close the bathrooms than it is a huge problem

In my non-professional opinion, I would think on days that you are running that you would need more protein to sustain yourself. It looks to me like quite a bit of carb but not a lot of protein. I would switch out that peach and apple for protein instead.

when you are running your body needs the carbs. Your body is like a car no gas it does not go. While that goes for the body carbs helps the body to keep moving. That is why people will pick out on carbs the night before a big race.
