Muscle Pain

Over the last week or so, I've had a lot of muscle pain. My back has started hurting and my hips are sore today (my butt has hurt since about a month out but that is understandable). My physiotherapist thinks it might be that I'm holding myself differently now because of the weight loss. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

I definitely did.   I suffered from excruciating back and hip pain pre op.   Mine got worse for a while as my gait and weight shifted.  Regular physio and a good chiropractor helped. Strength training for core and  stretching.    Tried different ways of sleeping and softness of mattresses.   In the end I found a duvet mattress cover helped me a lot.   Everyone is different but that helped me.   It took a few months for it to settle.

Yoga is my go to now wwhen it acts up.

Hope you get some relief soon.

Thanks for replying. I'm sorry that you had pain but I'm kind of glad that I'm not just falling apart. I'm seeing a personal trainer for the first time tomorrow so I will ask about core strengthening and stretching exercises.

Make sure your getting in all your water as well.   Muscle fatigue is a sign of dehydration

Thanks, I'll keep an eye on that.
