I'm so excited

I went to get the mail today and to my surprise there was my welcome package to attend the info session next Friday. 

My Dr would've sent in the referral a month ago. I was expecting it Nov/Dec based on the dates I've seen on here.

i can now say the process has started😁😄😄

any tips on what to expect? Is the information session really 3hrs?

Yes three hours, mine was with dietician, she talks, you listen!!!! Questions at the end, you will learn a lot, take a spouse, friend someone, my husband learned a lot!!!

Will I be able to take notes or does the dietitian prefer you just listen. I take in info better when I take notes.

unfortunately I don't have anyone to come with me, is that a problem?

Yes You can take notes, they give u a big handout with all the slides. You will be fine on your own!!! 

I was surprised at how fast I received my package too, however that's where the fast ends! I had my info session in April and still no appointments. 

The session was great, very informative, and easy to understand. 

I'm really looking forward to the session,it's too bad you haven't made anymore progress.

what step are you waiting for next? Can you call them?

Unfortunately humber is very behind. They are only booking the March orientation people now. I did get my sleep test done so at least when it's my turn I'll have 1 less thing to do.

did they tell you to get the sleep rest or did you just go ahead and get it done?
