Optifast variations

Hi everyone...when I started Optifast nearly 2 weeks ago, I was super excited.  Figured it would be a breeze since I love chocolate but live vanilla even more.

The vanilla tasted like plastic and the chocolate tasted like chocolate plastic.  I came up with some ideas that really helped me absolutely LOVE Optifast.  I could drink it the rest of my life now.

First....go to Homesense.  They have these flavors called Jordan's Skinny syrups.  They are sugar free and calorie free.

Here is a picture.  They cost 5.99 for a tall bottle.  They are absolutely amazing.

So i would make my drinks the night before.  I used water bottles.  I would fill some halfway and freeze them.  The next morning i would top them up with fridge cold optifast and they would stay ice cold all day.  Good luck.

Haven't found the gingerbread one yet.  I got red velvet, mocha, coconut, bluberry, vanilla almond, pumpkin spice.

The blueberry and pumpkin spice are awesome in the vanilla optidast.  Yesterday I got all chef-like and mixed a little vanilla-almond with the coconut and LOVED the pina colada taste it gave.

I found my best selection at the home sense in Scarborough at warden and eglinton.  They had caramel, raspberry, hazelnut, Irish cream, and English toffee as well.  The location in Whitby had only blueberry.

I got the skinny syrups when i was on opti and they made my opti go lumpy. So after surgery I tried to use them with my lean shakes and same thing happened. Im going to try your way mix the drink and put in freezer today and try cold protein shake on top, see if that is the key. Thanks, i bought like five flavours at Winners and I thought I would never get to use them.

I used to make the chocolate with ice cubes to make a slushie and add mint extract....yum! I by chance found a $50 homesense gift card in a drawer I was organizing!
