Hello i have my surgeon appointment oct 2 at TWH with Dr. Timothy JACKSON. What happens at this appointment and whàt is he like?? How long usuallyfrom this appointment is surgery?

I have my Surgeon Appointment with Dr. Tim Jackson at TWH on Friday, Sept 11th.
I have heard and read great things about him. I believe that it is about 5-6 weeks from the surgeon appointment for RNY surgery.

They are booking about two months out right now. I met my surgeon aug 28 and have surgery not 6.
you first sit with a nurse and she leaves you with consent forms to sign. The surgeon comes in and you two talk about the type of surgery that is best for you. Then the nurse comes back with a binder and gives you your optifast prescription and sets you up for your pre-op appointment.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr.Jackson! He is seriously one of the best doctors I have EVER dealt with. I've had a few complications and he is always there to see me no matter what time of the day/night.
You should feel very blessed to have him as your doctor. 😀

He did my surgery on the 11th, our meeting was brief but magical....I'm pretty sure I'm in love with him.
just kidding...kind of.
He was so kind and it felt like he truly listened, also the nurses couldn't stop talking about what a great guy he was after my surgery.
