Morning all. So tired today, had a 12 hr shift yesterday and my back hurts, feet swollen, knee hurts. Got a few errands to run today then work at 5pm. Z, sorry you're still struggling with your cold. Take care of yourself.

22 months post op

B - 2 scrambled eggs with cheese and salsa

L - 2oz shrimp

S - protein shake

D - maybe some Chinese or i'll make bake some turkey wings

S - leftovers from dinner

Thanks, you take care too, especially of the knee.  12 hours shift sounds rough on knees, can you sit at all for any of that time?  Would elevating your feet help with the swelling?

I can sit throughout the day but, it doesn't seem to help that much. When i get home i elevate them and by the morning, that are down but still puffy. I think the humidity as well is playing a big part in it or i'm eating more salt that i think i am. Will see next week when it's cooler if it helps. I'm peeing a lot as well and my back hurts although i haven't carried anything heavy. Feels like just about kidney level too.

So tired today! I'm starting my day with tons of coffee. 2 more weeks at this job and then I get to start working out of the house finally... it's been so many years lol.

 

b: 2 large coffees, protein shake

s: source yogurt

l: My mom's bday was last night, I brought home left over ribs so I'm ripping the meat apart and tossing into a small salad

s: another yogurt, love these things!

d: Not sure yet, but I've been eyeing the salmon in my freezer, might make that

Hi everyone - posting very late today. 

I survived the EX yesterday with no damage done. I felt good and was proud of myself for how I dealt with the food there. The main thing I noticed was how little the people around me seemed to be enjoying their food - standing up while quickly eating junk food while walking. That was a big surprise to me, I never noticed it before. Thanks to everyone who was so encouraging about going. 

This is what today looks like for me:

2.5 months post op

B: GNC total lean chocolate mint

S: Tea with soy milk

L: 5 slices Tofurkey, sliced tomato, dijon

S: 150g greek yogurt with blueberries and a bit of SF jam

D: Turkey sausage and broccoli

Referral: 8/14; Orientation TWH: 12/14; Nurse: 01/15; SW, Dietician, Psych: 2/15; Surgeon: 5/15; RNY: June 15/2015
